I had composite bonding done at North Down Dental with Chelsea, and honestly couldn’t be happier with the results! Chelsea was absolutely brilliant from start to finish, making me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the whole process. She was so friendly, professional and attentive, and really took the time to make sure everything was perfect. I’m so happy with my new smile and would highly recommend Chelsea and North Down Dental to anyone considering composite bonding! 🦷✨

I suffer from dental anxiety and prior to my appointment with NDDental I hadn’t been to the dentist in 10 years or more. A toothache forced me to make an appointment and after reading other reviews I decided to go with North Down Dental. Robin was the dentist I had my initial appointment with and she and her dental nurse (sorry I can’t remember her name) instantly put me at ease.I needed an extraction which took place yesterday with Maeve and Alice and had a great experience (something I never thought I’d say about a tooth extraction). They talked me through the procedure and listened to my concerns and again provided much needed reassurance and put me at ease. After being well numbed up it took less than 5 minutes for the problematic molar to be removed. Quick and painless.

★★★★★I recently had a dental implant on my front tooth after a failed crown. As someone who is extremely anxious about dental treatment, I had a lot of nerves—especially about the thought of having a screw placed into my jawbone. However, the entire team at North Down Dental made me feel completely at ease.Michael, my dentist, was exceptional. From my first consultation, he explained all of my treatment options in detail, including the pros, cons and costs, without ever pressuring me towards one decision. I ultimately chose an implant along with a gum graft and bone graft to give it the best chance of healing and lasting. Throughout the process, Michael was patient, kind and reassuring. He constantly checked that I was comfortable and ensured I experienced no pain. He is truly a first-class dentist.Emily, the dental nurse working alongside Michael, was lovely, kind and attentive. She regularly checked that I was okay, and it was genuinely heartwarming to see how happy Michael, Emily and the whole North Down Dental team were for me when my treatment was complete. It made the experience even more special.Clare Tory, the Practice Manager, was incredibly accommodating when arranging my appointments and carried out a detailed medical assessment to ensure I was suitable for sedation. She helped put my mind at ease from the very beginning. The reception team were also friendly and welcoming, especially Pam, who was always lovely to deal with.Morgan carried out my sedation on the day of treatment. His calm manner and positive attitude immediately reassured me.This implant has honestly changed my life and improved my confidence. I no longer have to wear a denture or worry about it coming out, which was particularly upsetting as it was my front tooth. I cannot thank Michael and the entire North Down Dental team enough. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering dental treatment, especially nervous patients.

The team at North Down Dental were so friendly, kind and reassuring, and looked after me so well.As I am deaf, I really appreciated their deaf awareness. They took the time to communicate clearly and make sure I understood everything. I never felt rushed or uncomfortable.Thank you to the whole team for making my experience so positive. I’m so glad I went to North Down Dental.

I got my first set of Composite Veneers back in 2021 with Dr Michael and wow they were absolutely incredible - everything I dreamed of & more! From the moment I met Michael & his team I knew he would be my dentist for life. His knowledge & expertise, attention to detail, and kind, calming demeanour is exactly what you want when choosing your dentist. I loved my composite veneers so much that I then decided this year, (2026), to go back to Dr Michael and the team at North Down Dental, to upgrade my smile makeover to Porcelain Veneers. Once again, Dr Michael created a bespoke treatment plan, this time consisting of 20 porcelain veneers. From shade to shape, everything was completely tailored to me. They listened to exactly what I wanted, and nothing was ever too much to ask of them, to ensure I was achieving my desired outcome. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process, and the level of trust I have built up with Dr Michael, Clare, Morgan & all of the team over the years is something I really value. I feel so confident with my new teeth and have most definitely achieved my dream smile. I will be a loyal North Down Dental client for life, and could not recommend Dr Michael and his team enough! They are incredible & really do make going to the dentist an amazing, friendly, enjoyable experience. Highly, highly recommend - it will be the best decision of your life!

What a fabulous team of people at North Down Dental. From my first phone call with lovely Jenny, I had a good feeling about them. The reception staff on my first visit were so friendly, and the customer care I witnessed was second to none. My whole experience with Morgan, the wonderful Chelsie and Adele was flawless. After attending another practice and leaving very disappointed by their customer service, North Down Dental should take pride in themselves. I would highly recommend them for any treatment.

5/5 Stars – Absolutely Life-Changing Experience for a Nervous Patient! If you are an anxious patient who has been putting off major dental work, do yourself a favor and book an appointment with North Down Dental immediately.I recently had crowns fitted across all of my front teeth, and to say I was terrified beforehand is an understatement—I am an extremely nervous patient. However, the entire team turned what felt like a daunting ordeal into a smooth, comfortable, and truly easy experience.Michael: An absolute master of his craft. The precision, care, and attention to detail he put into crafting my new smile was incredible. My crowns look completely natural and beautiful—he did an amazing job!Morgan & Emily: The sedation dream team :-) they administered my twilight sleep with so much warmth, humour and expertise that my anxiety melted away almost instantly. I honestly didn't feel a thing.Claire: As practice manager, Claire runs a tight, welcoming ship. Her kindness and organisation made every single visit seamless and stress-free.What truly sets North Down Dental apart, though, is their thoughtful post-care. After every single visit, I received a check-in call the very next day to see how I was recovering—and, crucial for my peace of mind, to reassure me that I had been "well-behaved" while under sedation!I couldn't be happier with my new smile or the level of care I received. Thank you to Michael, Claire, Morgan, Emily, and the rest of the wonderful staff

Had to be referred for a tooth removal. As soon as I received the initial phone call the team were so friendly and informative. On the day I was nervous but I received a lovely welcome. Was treated by Alice and Alice who took the time to talk through the procedure and put my mind at ease. Had a lovely chat as the local anaesthetic started to work. Made sure I was completely numb before starting. Was willing to stop if needed and talked through the procedure. Very good in talking through after care and received a follow up phone call the next day. Would highly recommend!

Ive just completed Invisalign treatment with the wonderful Dr Chelsie Rowland at North Down Dental and Implant Centre. Had went to various dentists before but wasn't sure until I attended this practice. All the staff made me feel so comfortable and at ease. A year later I'm finished my treatment and my smile journey. From someone who didn't like photos because of my teeth now loves smiling in all photos to show off my new smile and confidence! Thank you all at North Down Dental in particular Chelsie. I was referred to North Down Dental as I needed a surgical removal of a tooth. They were quick to get in touch and so reassuring from the first phone call - happy to explain exactly what would happen which was so reassuring as an exceptionally anxious dental patient. Staff were so friendly and lovely, made me feel so at ease straight away and were totally validating and understanding of my anxiety to the point I managed to laugh my way through the experience. Would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to use for any dental surgery and if I had to had surgery again, I would definitely return.Even down to a phone call the day after - makes you feel in such good hands. Thank you so very much.

I had a lower wisdom tooth extraction with Maeve. She made me feel very comfortable, the whole procedure was a lot less traumatic than I expected. The staff are lovely, and really put you at ease.Probably unusual to see a positive review for what is, let's face it, a very unpleasant thing to have done, but from start to finish, the appointment was great.Highly recommend

I toyed with the idea of having two implants as I had no efficient bite on one side of my mouth. My dentist recommended Michael Rowland at North Down Dental so I went along for a consultation. Michael explained the process which would initially entail getting an old root removed which had been left from a previous extraction at my normal dentist.I agreed to proceed and was given a timetable for the work required. After the extraction there was a healing period of two months and then a further four months until the implants were finally put in. I am really pleased with the whole process but more especially the final result.I have to say that North Down Dental is a very slick operation, not just the ambiance, relaxed atmosphere and hygiene but also the staff who are all friendly, welcoming and positive.I found Michael and his assistant Jordan very professional. Michael is very good at what he does.I highly recommend North Down Dental and in fact, following my experience there, my wife will be going to have a consultation soon.

This has been such an amazing and easy journey for me from start to finish. I made the call to enquire about getting composite veneers on my top teeth and within 2 weeks I had my consultation with Micheal and his team. I explained exactly what I wanted and what I didn't like about my natural teeth and smile. We worked together and the picture became very clear as what he could do for me. I had my trial smile done and I was speechless it changed my smile and gave me such a massive confidence boost. A few short weeks after I sat down on the chair and it was transformation time. There was absolutely no pain involved in this process at all, no drilling or filing of my natural teeth at all, some discomfort wearing the mouth guard to keep my mouth open while he literally transformed my smile but that was it. When I seen my finished result I was soo shocked at how much different my teeth and smile were, I cried I was in total shock I absolutely loved them. 1 year later I sat back down with Micheal and his team to transform my bottom teeth and within 1 month of making that call I was back in his chair again. I can honestly say this is one of the best decisions I've ever made. Micheal and his team are fantastic, they are relatable and friendly and want you to have the best possible outcome. Nothing was to much trouble for them and every appointment was explained and layed out very clear as to what was happening next. Big shout out to Morgan his right hand man also as he is just bursting with positive energy and is generally as excited to see the end result as you are and is with you every step of the way. Everyone compliments me on my teeth and to be honest I feel fantastic, they are beautiful and do not look "fake" by any means at all. Very natural but also very stunning. I highly recommend Micheal and his team and I am one very happy customer :)

From the first appointment with Michael , Morgan and all the team I was put at ease and made very welcome. I wasn’t sure what I needed other than I was looking to improve my smile. Michael knew exactly what to do , he was so reassuring throughout. My treatment took place over several months and I can honestly say they went above and beyond for me , even coming in on a holiday to sort out a problem I had caused. My surgery was pain free and after care second to none. Now I have a smile I don’t need to hide and confidence I have never had . I cannot recommend these guys enough, I am delighted with the result.

I am absolutely delighted with my new dental implant and could not praise the staff highly enough at North Down Dental.Dr Rowland made me feel in safe capable hands, which is so important when you are getting dental work, whilst Morgan provided reassurance and ensuring I was OK during procedures. The plan of my dental implant was laid out before any of the work started, along with the cost breakdown and time frames.I attended Dr Michael Rowland privately with a bad infection in an upper Molar which I knew needed to come out. It was a bad infection on a tooth which had a failed historic root canal procedure. Dr Rowland removed the tooth along with all the infection. Unfortunately the infection had already caused damage to my jaw bone which required a bone graft to build the jaw bone back up for the dental implant. Dr Rowland successfully carried all the work out and finally I have my new realistic tooth.Worth every penny for the feeling of being in the best hands, and for the expertise.

Please read this if you are particularly scared of going to the dentist. I had my first molar extraction today with Maeve and after the procedure was finished I genuinely had no words. I was stunned. We were in and out before the hour. Maeve made me laugh, was extremely thorough and confident which put me at immediate ease. She was encouraging throughout and made me feel as best I could be in a situation like that. I want to thank Maeve and everyone we came across today in North Down Dental. You made an extremely stressed and anxious patient who had to take her mum with her realise she would have done without her!!!

I recently attended this clinic for a wisdom tooth extraction and I have been extremely happy with the service that I received from the start to end of the process. Everything was explained very clearly to me by Maeve and she and her assistant Natalie created an atmosphere which was relaxed, friendly and reassuring throughout. They also both constantly checked in on how I was doing. After the procedure I was given clear guidance on the after care and a few days later a follow up call was made to me from the practice which I appreciated too. Two rear teeth removed by Dentist Maeve. Everything explained very well. Both teeth removed before I was aware. I had two stitches and no pain. The dentist was aware that I take a blood thinner and afterwards I had very little bleeding. This girl is obviously at the top of her profession and I would be very confident with her dental treatment. This is the third day and everything very good. I would have no hesitation in recommending this clinic

Had to get a procedure done due to having an impacted wisdom tooth. was nervous before hand due to never having any previous experience of having teeth removed, but all the staff ensured I was in good hands and talked me through every step! The procedure ended up being a breeze, I was pretty much in and out, and I'm greatful that I no longer need to deal with any more pain in the future (some tenderness throughout the healing process, but nothing a few pain killers won't help for a couple days) I highly recommend this practice for any dental needs, top professionals.

I was treated by Dr Maeve for a fairly severe impacted wisdom tooth that was causing me a lot of problems and required multiple sessions. I couldn't have been happier with the service, all the staff from the Doctor herself to the reception staff were incredibly friendly and reassuring. A member of staff, Claire I believe (apologies if incorrect, I was in a hoop around this time with the tooth!) even rang up after to check how I was getting on and if I had any questions.I can't recommend this clinic enough, really helped me massively. Good luck to anyone needing work in the future and rest assured that you're in good hands!

I can’t express how happy and grateful I am to Michael for transforming my smile with composite veneers. For years, I disliked my teeth and always felt the need to hide my smile. Now, thanks to his incredible work, I have a new outlook on life, and my smile finally reflects my happy and outgoing personality. From the initial consultation to the final goodbye, the whole experience was nothing short of amazing. Michael is not only incredibly skilled but also one of the most down-to-earth, kindest people you’ll ever meet. I’m over the moon with the results and couldn’t recommend him more highly. Thank you, Michael!

I have my new smile thanks to Dr Michael Rowland!!! I had my initial consultation with Michael and from the outset I knew I could trust him to be professional and help me make the right decision regarding my choice of treatment. He has a calm reassuring nature and I never was in any doubt my end result would be amazing. Claire and Morgan are a great asset to the team. I 100% recommend if you are considering specialist dental care to make an appointment with Michael. A truly amazing dental implant specialist.

I had a dental extraction at the practice yesterday and the treatment I received was excellent. Maeve was brilliant, I felt nothing and post extraction I have had very little discomfort. My thanks to Maeve, Natalie and Claire for being so professional, helpful and friendly. They are a wonderful team.

I recently had dental work completed by Michael. The entire team were exemplary, reassuring and considerate throughout the entire process. I am delighted with the outcome and I am extremely grateful for the excellent service I received. A patient centred practice with staff who take the time to listen and offer support. I would recommend this practice to others, especially those who have dental phobia or dental related anxieties. An excellent practice with knowledgeable, skilled and patient centred staff.

Just finished up my cosmetic work with Dr. Rowland and I am delighted with the results. The level of care is ultra professional, coupled with a friendly environment, it has made my experience a positive one. There is no shortcuts taken and Michaels experience and knowledge is super helpful and reassuring when it comes to choosing the correct treatment plan that best suited me.In terms of booking appointments and making payments etc, the staff are super and Claire was most helpful throughout. A quick mention to Michaels dental assistant Morgan who was fantastic, attentive and a bit of an all round legend. In my experience, this is a great team and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone that want to get cosmetic dental work done.

I attended the practice for an implant to replace a fractured tooth which was not suitable for a bridge. At every stage from the first consultation until the actual implant was fitted I was treated with genuine care and respect by Michael and his Team. Extreme care was taken during extraction and preparation for the implant to avoid infection as I am immune suppressed and the whole procedure went smoothly. I was always made to feel at ease and the kindness and caring attitude of everyone made the whole process comfortable. I would highly recommend Michael and his team even for those who may feel apprehensive or anxious about treatment. You will be treated with care and respect and be happy to smile again without feeling self conscious.

During a visit to the orthodontist one of my children (not the one who had an appointment) fainted. Everyone was so good with her and me and also looked after my other 2 children while I sat with my daughter who fainted. They kept us there until they where certain she was ok and rang twice to check in on how she was doing. Thank you all .
