Generally made of either an ultra-thin porcelain or a composite resin, veneers are always custom-made for each patient, no matter which material they are made from. They will be applied by one of our professional team members here at the practice, and due to advances in cosmetic dentistry, they present a much less invasive option than they used to.

Your veneers will be shade-matched to the rest of your natural teeth, or if you’re looking to brighten and whiten your smile, it can be a shade or two whiter than your teeth are currently. Both porcelain and composite resin have the added benefit of looking very natural, so your smile will appear naturally enhanced in a subtle style.

The treatment is normally carried out over two or more appointments. At your first appointment, we’ll take all the digital scans and photographs we need to design your new smile and send them to the lab technicians who will bespoke-make your veneers. When they’re ready, you’ll come back into the practice, and our highly skilled team will deftly apply the veneers, leaving your smile transformed.

You can treat your veneers just as you would your natural teeth, as the material is highly durable, although chewing very hard material can sometimes result in damage or breakage.
